POTENSI EROSI DAN SEDIMENTASI DI SUB DAS LEKOPANCING KAB . MAROS DENGAN APLIKASI ARCGIS

Watersheds have an important role in the life of living things, therefore in preserving the environment, watershed management is needed . An important factor in the management of a watershed is preventing erosion and sedimentation which can result in a decrease in the quantity and quality of water. Erosion events that cause sedimentation are a problem that occurs in the Lek opancing watershed in the Tompobulo sub-district, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The purpose of this study is to determine the magnitude of the erosion and sedimentation potential that occurs in the Lek opancing sub -watershed using the ArcGIS 10.5 application from2010-2021. This research was conducted using the ArcGIS 10.5 application which analyzed the potentialfor erosion and sedimentation using the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) in the Lek opancing sub-watershed. The results of the study using the ArcGIS 10 .5 application showed that the potential for erosion from 2010 -2021 was based on the K factor of 21,336.25 tons, the Ls factor of 20.086,75 tons, and the C factor of 17,726.34 tons. From the erosion potentialresults, it was found that the potential for se dimentation using the ArcGIS 10.5 application was a K factor of 4.930,04 tons, an Ls factor of 4.831,49 tons, and a C factor of 4,211.66 tons.
