RANCANGAN BANGUN MONITORING SUHU KAMBING DIPETERNAKAN BRR FARM DENGAN INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)

The climate in tropical Indonesia is very supportive of the development of goats. In a tropical climate there is where is the rainy season, this season the vulnerability of the temperature decreases to cold and becomes one of the causes of decreased animal health. Therefore, a temperature detection system is needed that can measure the temperature in real time. This research aims to monitor the temperature of livestock which will be the initial information for farmers. This system utilizes Internet Of Things technology using NodeMCU ESP8266 as a data processor and then sent to Firebase using the internet network and infrared temperature sensors as temperature gauges on livestock. The results of this research are in the form of a prototype of a livestock temperature detection system device that can inform alarm notifications according to the temperature level. The LED light indicator will light up according to the temperature level of the livestock, then the alarm will appear on the buzzer and smartphone through the researcher's design application. Thus, this temperature monitoring system prototype is to be useful so that farmers can immediately take care to reduce the mortality rate of livestock during the rainy season.
